Original French bailiff's report

In the year of 2003, December the 5th,

Upon request of SIDEP, a stock company whose head office is located 26, rue des Terres Fortes in Chanteloup-en-Brie, 77600, Marne-La-Vallée, France.

I the undersigned, Patrick Pellaux, bailiff to the Court of Meaux 77000 (France), living at 29 rue Vacheresse, in Lagny Sur Marne, 77600, France

found myself in the requesting company's head office located 26, rue des Terres Fortes in Chanteloup-en-Brie 77600 (France),

in the presence of M. Boutonnet-Tranier, Chairman of the Board who expounded :

that the requesting company would market and distribute such self adhesive tags as designed and manufactured for the purpose of protecting goods against shoplifting thieves,

that the company would procure the said tags from Asialco production site which is located in Shangai in the People's Republic of China,

that four major self adhesive tag manufacturers could be found in the world,

that Sidep company's interest was to have the undersigned supplied with self adhesive tags that could be further detached at random from tag rolls for the purpose of both verifying sensing distances accordingly whenever the said tags were brought across two detection antennas and preparing a comparison test report thereof, and

that the undersigned's attendance complied with the aforementioned request.

I, the undersigned, accepted and agreed to comply with the said request and therefore evidenced, verified and checked the following:

In regard to the aforementioned request, we complied with the following instructions:

- a one (1) meter long wood ruler was placed in the horizontal position and normal to the detection antennas.

- the detection tags were offered up facing the antennas and as an audio signal was heard, the sensing distance was measured through our good offices, upstream of the antennas.

Testing could commence :

I, the undersigned was handed over the following tag rolls for the pupose of testing tags:

-a roll of blue self adhesive tags, Alltag type, each tag measuring 38,5 mm x 42 mm.
Complying with the aforementioned method, one of the tags was sampled at random from the roll and affixed to a paper support exercising the greatest care in order to keep one's hands off the said tag while conducting the test.

I, the undersigned, measured a sensing distance of 72 cm ahead of the far end of the antitheft detection antenna.

-a roll of silver color self adhesive tags, Checkpoint Tokai type, each tag measuring 40 mm x 40 mm.

Complying with the aforementioned method, one of the tags was sampled at random from the roll and affixed to a paper support exercising the greatest care in order to keep hands off the said tag while conducting the test.

I, the undersigned, measured a sensing distance of 74 cm ahead of the far end of the antitheft detection antenna.

-a roll of pinkish red self adhesive tags, Checkpoint Portorico type, each tag measuring 40 mm X 40 mm.

Complying with the aforementioned method, one of the tags was sampled at random from the roll and affixed to a paper support exercising the greatest care in order to keep hands off the said tag while conducting the test.

I, the undersigned, measured a sensing distance of 74 cm (complying with the previous sensing distance) ahead of the far end of the antitheft detection antenna.

-a roll of red self adhesive tags, Asialco type, each tag measuring 38,5 mm x 41,5 mm.
Complying with the aforementioned method, one of the tags was sampled at random from the roll and affixed to a paper support exercising the greatest care in order to keep hands off the said tag while conducting the test.

I, the undersigned, measured a sensing distance of 83 cm
ahead of the far end of the antitheft detection antenna.

-a roll of green self adhesive tags, Lucatron type, each tag measuring 40,5 mm x 40,5 mm.

Complying with the aforementioned method, one of the tags was sampled at random from the roll and affixed to a paper support exercising the greatest care in order to keep hands off the said tag while conducting the test.

I, the undersigned, measured a sensing distance of 74 cm ahead of the far end of the antitheft detection antenna.

WITH DUE CONSIDERATION FOR THE MEASUREMENTS MADE AND CONCLUSIONS THEREOF, I THE UNDERSIGNED PREPARED THE PRESENT REPORT WITH ALL ADVANTAGES THERETO PERTAINING.
